Pastor AYODEJI AWE - Sr. Pastor

 Dr. Ayodeji Awe, ThM, Ph.D., DD (Hon.), a theologian, is the founder and Senior Pastor of Our Saviors Church (a non-denominational – Gospel Church) in Houston, Texas. He is also a Certified Chaplain.

He entered into ministry in 1976 (while an undergrad at the University), when he was appointed to be the Youth Coordinator in the Christ Apostolic Church in Nigeria. He, about this time, commenced his writing ministry by way of periodic exhortation to members.

Dr. A. Awe is an author. Some of his written books include: ‘Men in Transit’ and ‘Now that You Are a New Creation’ (both 2017) and Perhaps God will Change His Mind (1998). He had also written dissertations, theses, papers, Bible outlines, songs, and hymns. He is a Poet, who had had some of his works published in Anthologies and Poetry Books like ‘the Great Poems of the 90s.’ Dr. A. Awe, a versatile writer, once referred to as a man with a giant pen has written for and been a columnist in the Houston Chronicle, Houston Punch, and Christian Faith Trumpet. Currently, his column in the Christian Herald Newspaper (Bible Questions Answered- BQA, where called in Christian Life questions are answered) has been hot in visitation.

In addition to being a prolific writer and author, Pastor Ayodeji Awe is a well-sought speaker and an educator in all levels of education, up to the University and Church. He is also an encourager. His insatiable passion for the salvation of souls through the impeccable truth and unstoppable power of the gospel is not only underscored by the mission the Lord gave him at the founding of Our Saviors Church- ‘We are heaven bound! Join the joyful band’, but has always been reflective of the contents of his writings and sermons.

Pastor Awe is the husband of Deborah and the father of 3 boys – Tolu, Damilola, Kunle, and 1 girl- Jumoke. They are all supportive of him and by the grace of God active in ministry.
